Dr. Aliya Nur Babul 

Dr. Aliya Babul is a former research scientist now working on AI enabling companies. Currently, she is the Venture Capital Alliance Platform Lead at NVIDIA, where she partners with venture capital firms to provide AI enablement for their portfolio companies, access to tailored deal flow, industry insights, and co-investment opportunities. As part of her role, she works closely with companies to develop their AI strategy and ensure they can integrate AI to reduce costs and improve revenue. 

Before joining NVIDIA, she held roles at Merck and Morgan Stanley and has advised investment firms and fintechs on the development of their AI strategy and implementation. 

Dr. Babul holds a PhD from Columbia University, where she specialised in applying AI techniques to analyze large astrophysical datasets, and an MBA from Oxford University, where she served as the co-head of engagement for the Oxford Women in Leadership Alliance.
