Tania Kabbani
Tania is a graduate of McGill University, where she earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA, Finance) degree as well as a Bachelor of Commerce. She also broadened her academic experience through an exchange program at HEC Paris.
Tania obtained the Professional Director Certification from Hawkamah (a DIFC entity) in 2023.
Tania has deep expertise in Private Banking, with a strong track record in both relationship management and investment advisory across respected regional and international banks. In her previous roles, she advised Ultra High Net Worth individuals and family offices, managing their wealth and cultivating long-term client relationships. She also played an instrumental role in establishing and expanding private banking platforms for international institutions in the region.
Her role at the DIFC further deepened her expertise in family governance and succession planning. Additionally, she contributed significantly to building and strengthening the DIFC Family Wealth Centre's ecosystem.
Tania brings over a decade of academic experience, having designed and taught the “Private Banking” course for a leading American university in the region, where she served as a part-time faculty member for many years. She has also shared her expertise on ESG as a guest lecturer at ESCP Business School in Paris. Currently, she delivers corporate training and speaks at high-profile industry events. A committed mentor, she supports emerging leaders through the McGill Women’s alumnae association and has previously mentored with the Dubai Business Women Council (DBWC, a Dubai Chamber initiative).
Tania possesses a strong entrepreneurial spirit, having founded two companies of her own. She actively mentors entrepreneurs through Ignyte (a DIFC entity) and has previously conducted training for start-ups on key financial topics, including cash flow projections and valuations.
Tania lived on three continents, is multicultural, and speaks three languages fluently; she has a good understanding of two other languages.
